Please join us in celebrating Southern Legal Counsel's 40 Years of Impact: Pioneering Justice and Protecting Civil Rights. Morris Dees will be our keynote speaker on October 21 at the University of Florida Hilton. Dees co-founded Southern Poverty Law Center and is known for innovative lawsuits that crippled some of America's most notorious white supremacist hate groups. He was named one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America by the National Law Journal in 2006. Dees will speak about the importance of public interest law firms, like Southern Legal Counsel, that focus on impact litigation.
